OSCHA Project - British Council
The Faiz Foundation Trust, in collaboration with the Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA) and the British Council Pakistan, launched an engaging project in Sabeel Wali Gali, Lahore. This initiative aimed to foster community involvement and cultural enrichment through various activities held at Masjid Wazir Khan.
The project featured Open Mic Sessions, where participants shared poetry, music, and stories, creating a vibrant platform for artistic expression. Storytelling sessions captivated children, sparking their imagination and fostering a love for literature and local folklore.

Workshops on cartography, drawing, mapping, and creating Instagram stories were also conducted, encouraging participants to explore their creativity and learn new skills. These workshops not only enhanced artistic abilities but also introduced participants to modern digital storytelling techniques.
Held every weekend, the sessions attracted numerous local residents and their children, making it a lively and inclusive community event.
Children who participated in the workshops received certificates upon completion, recognizing their efforts and encouraging continued engagement with the arts. This project successfully blended cultural heritage with contemporary practices, leaving a lasting impact on the community.
